Katrin Inclusive is a series of paper and soap dispensers for public restrooms designed to be used by anyone.

To achieve effortless use for anyone we included people with the full range of human diversity into the design process. We also involved cleaning personnel.

In addition to taking all of these perspectives into account we built a unifying design language for the product range.

The result features consistency of where the consumable is dispensed and contrasting areas to further emphasize that. Interacting with the dispensers should be effortless so push and pull surfaces has been increased and the force required has been reduced. The transparent sides makes it quick for the cleaners to see if the dispensers need to be refilled or not and the shapes towards the wall drains the water away from the paper when hosing down the walls in public restrooms.
